He is a long-time director and officer of the National Cartoonists Society and its charity arm, The Milt Gross Fund, and recipient of the Silver T-Square Award for service to the organization. He serves on the board of directors of a number of business organizations. Mr. Katzman lives in New York City with his wife, Shirley. They enjoy wandering around the world and skiing in the Alps, Rockies and Andes.
