Then when Ava and her family disappear Alisa’s whole world falls into chaos as she realizes that everything she cares about is slipping away. Across the country, Reverend Martin Phillips is also secure in his belief that he knows right from wrong, and he is not shy in telling anyone within earshot. But when his sister and her two sons also mysteriously disappear, he begins a cross-country trek to find out the reason. In Chehalis, Washington he meets Jack McCullen and the two men soon discover that something truly evil is happening in the world. But the questions remains, who is behind the evil?
