About the Book
Two strangers adrift at sea encounter hunger, despair and an acute inability to cope with the thoughts of rapidly approaching death. The ways they find to deal with the crisis are more or less irrational as they are dictated by unusual circumstances, yet life and friendship prevail in the end.

| About the Author |
Tediously chiselled out of the cold Eastern Block and then imported into the United States twelve years ago, G.E. Endicott makes her debut in the literary world with S.O.S. (Save Our Sardines) while continuing to adjust to the warmth of the Western Block which at times results in fine cracks and fractures. Notwithstanding these minor defects, the author spends most of her time in sunny California and is surprisingly regarded as whole. |
