We all want happiness for ourselves and our loved ones. But what is happiness? How can we achieve it? Is it a luxury available only to those who are rich, talented or beautiful? Or is it within everyone’s grasp?

To answer these questions, the author draws upon the wisdom of some of history’s great thinkers: Epicurus, Epictetus, The Dalai Lama, Bertrand Russell, Aristotle, Jeremy Bentham and John Stuart Mill.

This book started out as a series of articles in Mind Your Body, a weekly health & well-being magazine that comes with Singapore’s national daily, The Straits Times.
