About the Book
|
Man’s made the earth a mess – unfit for any of God’s creation. The planet’s been polluted, profaned by greed. Old watering holes are no longer pure. Old pastures are no longer green. The old man in an old covenant is no longer fruitful. We’ve cast off His yoke, spoiled a virgin land and aborted His kids.
Before the end of time, Babylon, representing the empires that trafficked in slaves and the souls of men will fall. But the age of her ‘infallibility’ and world-wide influence is over. God is exposing what she really is.
The Lord has made the problem of this age clear: “Man divorcing God and man divorcing man.” Divorce is a ripping apart of what was once one. We were meant to be one with our Messiah and with all our neighbors. If that’s the problem, what’s the solution?
Messiah Proposes suggests a profound new way to think about God: proposing marriage to his ‘woman.’ That idea will transform the way we think about our Creator and the meaning of our life. At the end of time there’s no more Gentile or Jew, male or female. God only sees what’s in a person’s heart. The Messiah promises to give us a name better than that of sons or daughters. All but the Bride are on the edge of extinction. The Messiah shares His plan and His throne with His first Lady. She’s pregnant with promise and she’s ready to deliver. She has a new name and she’s become a river of life to birth these new children of true Israel. In a new land she’ll foster a new race.
