About the Book
|
The Artist: Born to Create is about priming the creative pump. Its primary aim is awakening the talent within and releasing the flow of our innate creativity. A work of art is a natural process: surges of energy birth creative works. Afterward there’s a post-partum blues. Artistic mood swings are extreme. But you need a wide, deep range of moods to create art that moves people. You just need to learn to manage your gifts and move your audience in a positive direction.
In this three-part book you’ll get to know more about The Artist, about creativity and about two of His/Her artists. And once you’ve gotten to know them, you’ll get a look at two of their completed works.
The Garden is a full-length musical about artists in two very different settings. One is in Eden; the other in Talentville, a place where many artists showcase their talents, indulging themselves without acknowledging the gifts they’ve been given or taking responsibility for the impact they have on their audience.
Set the Captives Free is a screenplay set in Sing Sing. Prison has been called the belly of the beast but in that crucible men can change for the better, going from base metals to pure gold. It’s about one man who went down into hell, to bring gifts to these men in green and set them free from the inhumanity perpetrated by the boys in blue.
