About the Book
|
For millennia humankind has heard forebodings of a doomsday, voiced by Nostradamus and the Mayans, and more recently by The Bible Code, Web Bot Project and Bruce Bueno de Mesquita. We find forecasts in the Hindu Vedas, the I-Ching, and in the prophetic words of shamans and native people all over the planet.
On the winter solstice in 2012, Mayan astronomers foresaw a galactic alignment, causing a reversal in the earth's magnetic field, ultimately leading to the shooting of strong solar flares from the Sun toward Earth. The Aborigines say 'black rain' will fall at the end time. Hopi elders have said most of the signs for this age have been fulfilled & in the final one they tell us that dwelling places in the heavens, above the earth, shall fall with a great crash. Fires will devour this old world. There will be much death and destruction.
But fire can purify also. Beyond doomsday there is hope. When the 'white brother' returns we can all become part of the new brotherhood of man. In the 'lost' book of Nostradamus seven drawings are depicted, the last image illustrating the end of this age. With a book of empty pages and a wheel with no spokes, the prophetic message is clear: Time is running out! And we all must make a choice!
Doomsday in Black & White masterfully explores and interprets Judeo-Christian teachings, paralleling them with a multitude of mystical philosophies and scientific thought to illuminate the way we can become whole human beings and transform our world.
