About the Book
The Bride heard her Messiah propose. It was more than good news. She jumped at the chance to march down that narrow aisle into a brand new life. Becoming is a double entendre: it has double meaning. It is something that suits or gives an attractive appearance. There’s nothing more beautiful than a bride walking to the altar. Everyone’s focus is on her. Becoming is also a process of change or transformation – an exhortation to grow up!

The Beatitudes serve as eight points of penetration into Jesus’ only recorded sermon – The Sermon on the Mount – that begin with blessed and end with a promise. Blessed means in paradise or in utmost bliss. Spiritual growth is a process. There is a conception and then a gradual blossoming of life. God works over time till we no longer exist apart from Him.

The Beatitudes are also entry requirements for the kingdom of heaven. Not man’s requirements but God’s. Jesus joins conditions with promises. His conditions are the same as they were in the Garden, the same as for Abraham, the same as for entry into the Promised Land – obedient faith.

These codes of behavior identify the Bride and direct us on the path that leads to the paradise God promises. All eight Beatitudes are attributes of God that we get by grace. In the fires of His love we’re refined. His passion consumes us! Happiness and heaven await those that affirm their faith with action. And hot for Him, eventually we’re vaporized out of this world!
