Andreas Zorbas is not a typical child. He is quiet, smart and perceives things that most people don’t. But his gift is both a blessing and a burden – blessing because through his gift he learns about life and the world around him; burden because his gift makes him anxious and lonely. As he confronts adversity and personal loss, he also realizes that life is opening up for him, that opportunity exists within his grasp, and that he is not lonely, after all. Johnathan Gikas witnessed, growing up in suburban Greece, an old era disappear, giving way to progress and modernity. Eventually, he found his way to the United States where he earned an American citizenship and advanced university degrees. Johnathan enjoys writing and especially converting ideas between his two languages. He lives in Florida, and Prediction is his debut novel. |
