Joseph Armstead spent his childhood in the continental United States and in Europe. He now lives in the San Francisco/East Bay working in the computer industry. Fascinated by the macabre, he presents his stories of occult horror with a scientific voice. His writing is a diverse mixture of "splatterpunk/cyberpunk/hong kong cinema".
