It is AD 25 and Caradoc, youngest son of the strongest king in Britain, is training to be a druid. He really wants to be a warrior, like his father, uncle and brothers. When Caradoc should be studying he is actually thinking about Gwyfina, a beautiful young druid - and one of his teachers. So when Gwyfina is chosen to be sacrificed he is determined to save her, defy the druids and flee to his homeland . . . whether she actually wants to be saved or not. Their enemies are many and Caradoc will have to learn all the skills of survival, leadership and cunning he will need as a grown man. While Gwyfina must add a sense of fun and love for life to her impressive druid knowledge. Caradoc will never give up, but can anyone defy the will of the gods? This is the first in a new adventure series based in Celtic Britain.
