About the Book
|
Isolated in solitude on the Big Island of Hawaii on the frozen earth, Gabriel Martin struggles from an inability to hide from loneliness and memories of his past. His only escape is found by entering a dream chamber, which allows him to forget his identity and live countless lifetimes in his mind. He chases illusions of true love and happiness to no avail. After realizing his existence has no real meaning, he uses the dream chamber to journey into the past across the flooded Hawaiian Islands, to witness the beginning of the earth’s destruction by mankind. After discovering life may still exist in his world, he awakens and ventures into the unknown frozen landscape to search for survivors on a journey that is both an outward exploration and an inward discovery.
