*Cooper Moves In* is about an appaloosa horse that moves in to a new barn and struggles to fit in. He finds his place with the help of a girl named Liz. This book is based on a true story about a real horse named Cooper.

About the Author

Susie was born and raised in Rock Island, IL. which is located on the Mississippi River. She was both a "writer" and a horse lover from a young age. She began riding at 9 years old and wrote stories about horses even then. She also read every horse book she could find. It has always been her dream to publish her own book.

She has a Masters Degree in Education and teaches 2nd grade at Riverdale Elementary in Port Byron, IL. She resides in Bettendorf, Iowa with her daughter, Megan, and son, Drake. Her current horse, a solid bay appy named Brooklyn, lives with Cooper in Davenport, IA.
