About the Book
|
|
Retired
CIA operative Alex Cave was enjoying a cruse on his sailboat, watching
a massive ocean going oil tanker enter the Pudget Sound. A brilliant
silver flash appeared above the tanker. Suddenly a hysterical voice
shouted over the radio, screaming a mayday from that ship. He went
to render assistance, but when he boarded her, he could not find a
single member of the seven-person crew, although all the life rafts
were still in their brackets. There was not a drop of crude oil in
the holds. In fact, they were as clean as the day it was built. The
next day he discovered that the ship had entered the Pudget sound
carrying 12 thousand tons of heavy crude oil but not a drop had been
spilled into the water. Suddenly raw crude oil is mysteriously disappearing
all over the world. As the remaining processed oil supplies begin
to dwindle, all forms of transportation grind to a halt and people
around the world start to panic.
